Thrifty Ways began in 2015 within a small suburban bedroom. I shared my unique clothing finds with locals in my area. Back then, thrift was a foreign concept for most South Africans. We faced heavy rejection while introducing this new sustainable fashion.
We moved from that bedroom to my mother’s dining room. Next, we operated out of the garage at my family home. Eventually, we opened our first independent shop on Gleneagles Road. That great area helped us grow into our current retail space.
Our business has built a loyal and very solid client base. People trust us as a premier destination for vintage streetwear. We are one of the longest-running thrift stores found online. Consistency has been the key to our reputation and lasting success.
